Our goal is to have more accessible MTB parks, trails and facilities that offer a diverse range of riding opportunities in and around Okotoks. We plan to have MTB trails and facilities managed and maintained in a sustainable way without causing adverse impacts on the town’s natural, commercial and cultural values.

We are working to provide better linkages between trails and across different land tenure boundaries. We want to develop, promote and support MTB events as a vehicle to attract local and visiting riders. We also want to have improved consistency of trail construction standards, MTB trail classification and signage and to deliver education to MTB riders and the wider community about the activity.

Our commitment is to ensure the sustainability of this environment by being good custodians of the trails and MTB facilities and educating others to ensure that the facilities are enjoyed by all.
